Hotels You Can Walk To From TD Garden
Capacity: 19,156
Several. TD Garden sits on top of North Station in Boston's West End, and citizenM Boston North Station shares the block — a two-minute walk from the Causeway Street entrance. Three more hotels sit within a ten-minute walk on flat, lit sidewalk, so nothing about a Celtics game or an arena concert needs a car.

Walking directions

Google Maps may choose a different gate or omit private indoor connections; follow the listed route notes and venue access rules for onsite hotels.
Walking from your hotel to the doors
The arena is the transit station
TD Garden is built above North Station, so the Green and Orange Lines and the commuter rail let out underneath the building. If your hotel is on a subway line, the walk at the far end is measured in steps.
- 1Leave your hotel and head for Causeway Street on the north side of the building.
- 2Follow the Hub on Causeway frontage to your gate — doors are numbered along the street.
- 3Coming out after the final buzzer, stay on Causeway rather than cutting through the station concourse, which backs up badly.
Note: Causeway Street sidewalks are marshalled after big events, and the crowd clears in about 15 minutes.
Concerts and Celtics nights differ
Concert crowds arrive later and leave in one wave, so the short walks pay off most on music nights. Celtics games spread arrivals over an hour and the West End bars absorb much of it.
