Walking from your hotel to the gates

Using the Omni skybridge

The skybridge is the only true indoor stadium connection on the U.S. west coast. It is signed from the hotel's fourth-floor meeting level rather than the lobby, which catches people out.

  1. 1Take the lift to the fourth floor, not the lobby.
  2. 2Follow 'Petco Park' signs across the enclosed bridge.
  3. 3Tickets are scanned at the ballpark end of the bridge.

Note: The bridge opens with the gates and closes shortly after the final out. Outside those hours, use the Tony Gwynn Drive sidewalk — a four-minute walk.

Our walkable-only rule

Every hotel on this page has a continuous pedestrian route from a Petco Park entrance: sidewalk, plaza or covered walkway, with no freeway crossing and no shuttle. Anything beyond roughly a 15-minute walk, or separated by a highway, river or rail corridor with no crossing, is excluded — however close it looks on a map.
