Google Maps may choose a different gate or omit private indoor connections; follow the listed route notes and venue access rules for onsite hotels.

Walking from your hotel to the gates

Walking on gameday

Ohio Stadium sits between the Olentangy river and the main campus, so approaches from the east are all pedestrian paths. Cars are stopped on Woodruff and Tuttle Park Place before kickoff, which makes the walk easier, not harder.

Note: Gates open two hours before kickoff. The rotunda gates hold the longest lines — Gate 10 and Gate 30 clear faster.

Our walkable-only rule

Every hotel on this page has a continuous pedestrian route from a Ohio Stadium entrance: sidewalk, plaza or covered walkway, with no freeway crossing and no shuttle. Anything beyond roughly a 18-minute walk, or separated by a highway, river or rail corridor with no crossing, is excluded — however close it looks on a map.
