The hotel cluster runs along Mill Avenue and University Drive, all on the same side of the Loop 202 and the Salt River. Anything north of the river — the Scottsdale and Papago corridors — is severed by the freeway and the riverbed, so those hotels are excluded regardless of map distance.
Note: Kickoffs in September are often still in the 90s at sunset. Bring water for the walk back up University Drive.
