Walking directions
Walk times are estimates based on an average adult walking pace from the listed entrance. Actual times vary with your gate, game day crowd flow, and street closures. Google Maps may choose a different gate or omit private indoor connections; follow the listed route notes and venue access rules for onsite hotels.
Hotels north of I-94 and west of the Lodge Freeway are excluded — the freeway service drives and ramps between them and the arena have gaps in the sidewalk network.

Woodward is the walking route
The arena's public entrances face Woodward Avenue and the Via, an indoor street that runs through the building. Everything walkable is on the Woodward spine between the arena and the riverfront.
- 1Walk north on Woodward from downtown, or south from Midtown.
- 2Enter at Chevrolet Plaza on the Woodward side.
- 3After the game, the QLINE runs late on event nights if the walk back feels long.
Note: Cass Avenue on the west side is quieter but darker; stick to Woodward at night.

Our walkable-only rule
Every hotel on this page has a continuous pedestrian route from an entrance visitors actually use at Little Caesars Arena, measured through the surrounding streets rather than across the block. Anything beyond roughly a 15-minute walk, or separated by a highway, river or rail corridor with no crossing, is excluded — however close it looks on a map.
