Walking directions
Walk times are estimates based on an average adult walking pace from the listed entrance. Actual times vary with your gate, game day crowd flow, and street closures. Google Maps may choose a different gate or omit private indoor connections; follow the listed route notes and venue access rules for onsite hotels.
Brickell and Watson Island hotels are excluded: both require crossing the Miami River bridge or the MacArthur Causeway, which puts them well outside a 15-minute walk.

Biscayne Boulevard and the Metromover
The arena's main doors face Biscayne Boulevard, and the free Metromover has a stop at the building. Downtown hotels can either walk the boulevard or ride two stops.
- 1Walk to Biscayne Boulevard and head for the arena's west plaza.
- 2Cross at the signals — Biscayne is six lanes and not worth improvising.
- 3Enter at the main plaza doors on the Biscayne side.
Note: The Metromover runs late on event nights and is free, which is the easy answer in August humidity.
Frequently asked questions
Can you walk to a Miami Heat game from a downtown hotel?
Yes. The Biscayne Boulevard and NE 2nd Avenue hotels are six to twelve minutes from the arena on continuous, lit sidewalk.
Is Brickell walkable to Kaseya Center?
Not by our rule. Brickell requires crossing the Miami River and sits beyond 15 minutes from the gates, so we leave those hotels off.
Our walkable-only rule
Every hotel on this page has a continuous pedestrian route from an entrance visitors actually use at Kaseya Center, measured through the surrounding streets rather than across the block. Anything beyond roughly a 15-minute walk, or separated by a highway, river or rail corridor with no crossing, is excluded — however close it looks on a map.
